This vintage chalkware figure brought BIG bids!

Auction Bay is the place to take your old advertising items, especially Bar Decor and Beer Signs! We’ll help you turn them into cash, just like we did with this figurine!

This item is in impressive condition, and makes a fine collectable piece of Breweriana.  Advertising Drewrys Ale and Beer and standing over 16″ tall, this figure is made from chalkware, making it even more desirable (as it is hard to find a chalk figurine in such great shape)!  It features the iconic mountee, proudly standing  aside his horse. It brought 18 bids – a competitive auction for certain – and sold for $717.77!  Genuine articles of vintage bar decor are sought after by fans of the beer as well as advertising collectors, not to mention bartenders.

Sometimes, the biggest sellers in breweriana are from Beers which no longer are produced, or have changed their mascot or logo.  Whatever your collectible is, Auction Bay can help you bring a strong sale!

Thomas Centennial Park in Downtown Chesterton looks a little chilly this morning!

The first week of November isn’t yet over, and we’ve had our first snowfall of the season!  At Auction Bay, we were amused by the flurries yesterday, but we weren’t expecting a measurable snowfall overnight!  No matter, we’re ready for business and can’t wait to help you sell items on eBay!

We’ve got hot coffee.  Care to join us?  What better way to beat the chill of the first winter snow than by gathering up a few items and heading over to Auction Bay to make some money on ebay?  Here, you can enjoy a steaming hot cup of caffeine, a pleasant conversation, and make money all the while as  we help you sell your items.  It’s a great way to make extra money for the holiday season!  Christmas is less than 50 days away, after all!

Who knows what this winter will bring, but if you sell with Auction Bay, you’ll have an additional source of income to help you through the cold months!

We can’t help but to keep mentioning our new facade.  It looks pretty good in the snow!  As the great Cassius Clay (later Muhammad Ali) once said… “It ain’t braggin’ if it’s true!”

A little bit of snow won't slow us down!

This Pabst Beer display sold for $152.50

Auction Bay sold this Pabst Blue Ribbon Beer sign for $152.50!

There are many Beer enthusiasts out there, and many of them are fond of collecting the old advertising pieces for their favorite brews!  Auction Bay can take your old Bar Decor or Beer Signs and turn them into cash, just like we did with this display!

This item is an impressive piece of Breweriana.  Advertising Pabst Blue Ribbon Beer, it stood a good 14.5″ tall and featured the classic Pabst bartender, proudly touting his wares.  It brought in 11 bids and sold for $152.50! This display and others like it are highly collectible.  Not just for collectors, most any fan of Pabst (or any other beer) will appreciate a genuine article of Bar Decor advertising their favorite drink for their own shelf.

When it comes to ad pieces like this one, the biggest sellers are often ones from Beers which no longer exist, or ones which have gone through a change in logo design.  Static display items can sell well, but the bids stack even higher for any piece which includes light and/or motion.

After a great weekend, Auction Bay is back in action and ready to sell your stuff on eBay!  But first, we’d like to share another success story!

This Leinenkugel's Beer Mirror-Sign sold on eBay for $154.50!

    This Leinenkugel

We’ve had some good history with Bar Decor and Beer Advertisements.  We recently sold this Leinenkugel’s Beer Mirror Sign on eBay for $154.50!  It’s easy to see what makes this piece desirable!  The Leinenkugel name and Indian Maiden logo feature prominently, big and bold at center!  The mirror itself looks sharp enough that it could have served as a set dressing for Cheers, or any tavern setting on stage or screen!  It was also fairly clean, as opposed to some items pulled from bars, which can be coated in grime and dust.

Small promotional items like can coolers and pins and buttons and the like don’t tend to bring much interest online (unless they are quite old or advertising a no-longer-made beer or consumable), but the bar-grade decorations, especially ones made with lights or movement… those can bring in big bucks!
